The Alchemy Solar is an overwound, searing vintage hot style humbucker, producing a versatile sound with a smooth presence in the mids, and a warm but clear sound. The set is overwound to allow for the use of an AlNiCo V magnet in the more powerful bridge humbucker, the extra brightness and pull of the magnet capable of handling tones from classic rock through to harder rock, aggressive rhythm and metal styles, maintaining plenty of low end without ever losing accuracy. The AlNiCo IV neck humbucker is designed for warm and clear cleans with slightly less string pull, allowing for a fat and liquid gain, great for soloing and progressive rock tones.
