The Alchemy Regia is a true P90 pickup, powered all the way by AlNiCo II magnets, providing a lush, royal warmth in the neck position, and a deep, complex and responsive tone in the bridge, with the HSP90 bobbin compressing the tone overall slightly, accentuating the warmth of the mids and extending the sustain. Wound using 43AWG wire and mounted on pure nickel baseplates to allow for the treble to remain present, the mids focussed, and the bass deep, the output of the Regia is vintage hot, without overwinding. The Regia are the perfect pickup for a full, rounded blues tone, with gorgeous warmth and rich harmonic overtones. Buttery cleans are available in all applications, add a little gain and ample sustain and warmth will ensure a fantastic gritty tone can be easily achieved. Suitable for anything from jazz through to hard rock.
