Our most versatile Strat pickup, with flat pole AlNiCo IV magnets, wound with 43AWG wire. A bright, crisp, and punchy sound, capable of handling fuzz brilliantly for searing classic rock and prog tones,and cutting through crunch nicely, with a flatter EQ and less high-end to keep the set from sounding shrill clean. A more modern output rolls off the treble and focuses the bass response and the AlNiCo IV construction gives more mid-presence than a traditional AV Strat pickups set, giving the Quicksilvers the ability to handle the demands of higher gain rock music without losing complexity in the midrange, while still being extremely well suited to classic rock, blues and indie sounds. 
 
All of our single coil middle pickups are RW/RP to give a humbucking tone in positions 2 and 4.
